Cotton Silver graduated with honors from the University of Florida in 1988. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a major in Finance and a minor in English. While at the University of Florida , Ms. Silver was a member of the UF Jazz Band and served as President of Delta Sigma Pi, a business fraternity. In 1991, Ms. Silver received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. Ms. Silver's areas of practice include asbestos defense litigation throughout the state of Florida , as well as general commercial and civil litigation. She is a member of the Florida Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Ms. Silver is an active volunteer at her children's schools and has been a Girl Scout leader for thirteen years. She resides in Jupiter and enjoys listening to music, reading, gardening, stained glass, photography and traveling. |
